Swaps in currency trading are the fees or payments for holding a position overnight. They are based on the difference in interest rates between the two currencies in a pair and vary by broker. If you hold a trade overnight past the market close, you may either pay a fee or receive a payment, depending on whether you are holding a buy or sell position, how the interest rates compare, and more specifically the long and short swap rates of your broker.
All swap rates are taken from live trading accounts. Please note order slippage and spreads/commissions are additional costs to trading not reflected in this table. Use the edit button to select from a basket of instruments to view their average costs. Hover or tap table cell values for additional details. Swap rates for some symbols like stock shares aren't available in the comparison table but may be viewed per broker by clicking on the broker. Click or tap instrument headers to toggle the sort by best long swap rates or best short swap rates.
