for the crypto traders, you can always check out which brokers have the lowest spreads for cryptos (and more) with our live spreads tool.
it's very easy to use and it's accuracy is top-notch, as the spreads are taken from live accounts, and can include trading commissions to give you the real cost of the trade.

Oh, thank you for this spread comparison tool, it's such a lovely tool, especially how it averages the spread per instrument category. But this is for Cashbackforex where only the the brokers with rebates are being mentioned. It would be lovely if a wider broker list is included for more guides for traders who have a particular broker not listed in mind.

how is it possible that IC Markets has different charts for gold?
first image is from MT4 1 minute and shows where gaps occur.
second image is from MT5 1 minute and also shows where gaps occur.
if it's the same broker, same instrument, why there's gaps on MT4 and different gaps on MT5?

Hi #jakky,
Most likely the MT4 is connected to a different LP (Liquidity Provider) or liquidity pool.
Price differences can happen in 2 trading platforms with the same broker if trading environments are connected to different LPs - after all there's isn't a centralised exchange (unlike stocks, for example) for forex and other CFDs.
Same is valid if 2 or 3 brokers using the same platform, and for the same instrument, use different LPs - you'll see price differences happening all the time.
