Cosa sono i Pip
Uno Pip in Forex significa la più piccola variazione di prezzo che una coppia di valute può effettuare, ad eccezione di frazioni di Pip, chiamati "pipette".
Per la maggior parte delle coppie di valute 1 Pip è 0,0001; per le coppie di valute con lo Yen giapponese come USD/JPY 1 Pip è 0,01. Quando si negoziano metalli, 1 Pip per l'oro e l'argento è 0,01.
Quando la coppia EUR/USD aumenta da 1,0925 a 1,0926, la variazione è di 1 Pip. Con una quotazione a 5 cifre, se la coppia EUR/USD sale da 1,09255 a 1,09260, la variazione è di mezzo Pip.
