외환 핍은 핍 또는 '파이펫'의 분수를 제외하고 통화 쌍이 만들어낼 수 있는 가장 작은 가격 변화를 의미합니다. 외환 시장에서 통화쌍의 가격 변동폭을 표시하는 단위입니다.
대부분의 통화 쌍의 경우 1 핍은 0.0001입니다. USD/JPY와 같은 일본 엔의 통화 쌍은 0.01입니다. 금속을 거래할 때 금 및 은의 경우 1 핍은 0.01입니다.
EUR/USD가 1.0925에서 1.0926으로 상승할 때, 변화는 1핍입니다. 5자리 가격에 경우 EUR/USD가 1.09255에서 1.09260으로 상승한다면, 그 움직임은 핍 절반이 될 것입니다.
핍 값은 통화 쌍에 따라 다르므로 계산기를 사용하여 핍 값을 쉽게 계산할 수 있습니다.
