Qué son los Pips en Forex
Un Pip en Forex representa el menor cambio de precio posible que puede haber en un par de divisas, excepto por las fracciones de un pip, comúnmente llamadas “pipettes” en inglés.
Para la mayoría de pares de divisas 1 pip es 0.0001; para pares de divisas con el Yen Japonés como USD/JPY 1 pip es 0.01. Cuando se comercian metales, 1 pip en Oro y en Plata es 0.01.
Cuando EUR/USD sube de precio de 1.0925 a 1.0926, el cambio es de 1 pip. Con precios de 5 dígitos, si EUR/USD sube de 1.09255 a 1.09260, el cambio de precio será de medio pip.
